Temporary
The word temporary refers to something that is not permanent or lasting for a long time. When we describe something as temporary, it means that it is meant to be used, experienced, or in place for a short duration. For example, a temporary job is one that is not permanent and may only last for a specific period. Temporary housing could refer to a place to stay for a short time, like a hotel room or a rental property for a few weeks or months.
Temporary changes are alterations that are not meant to be permanent. Temporary tattoos, for instance, are designs on the skin that fade away after a few days. Similarly, temporary solutions are quick fixes or short-term remedies to address a problem until a more permanent solution can be implemented. In the context of emotions or situations, temporary can refer to feelings or circumstances that are fleeting and not long-lasting. Temporary setbacks in life are obstacles that can be overcome with time and effort. Temporary joy might come from a brief moment of happiness that doesn’t endure.
