Serendipity

It describes the occurrence of finding something valuable or pleasant by chance. Serendipity is all about those unexpected and delightful discoveries or fortunate coincidences that happen in life. It describes the moments when you stumble upon something amazing or find exactly what you need when you least expect it.

Ephemeral

It describes something as being short-lived or transient. It refers to things that have a brief existence or last for only a short period of time. Ephemeral often captures the essence of fleeting moments, experiences, or objects that come and go quickly.

Tacitly

It describes a way of communicating or understanding without explicitly stating it. It’s like having a secret language or a hidden understanding between people. It’s when something is grasped without being directly expressed in words.

Quandary

It describes a state of uncertainty or confusion. It’s like being caught in a puzzle or a tricky situation where you’re not sure what to do or which path to choose. It’s that feeling of being stuck, not knowing which way to go or what decision to make.

Spur

It means to motivate, stimulate, or encourage something or someone to take action or progress. It’s like giving a little push or boost to get things going.

Scattered

It means things are spread out or not in a specific order, or not well-organized. It can apply to physical objects, thoughts, information, or even the distribution of occurrences in a larger context.

It refer to any attempt to conceal or disguise the truth or a person’s true intentions. The phrase “fig leaf” is often used metaphorically to describe a flimsy or inadequate covering or excuse.

We can use this word when someone is being unfairly criticized or spoken ill of. It means to slander or defame someone by spreading false or malicious information about them. In a broader sense, vilification can also happen on a larger scale, such as in the media or public discourse.

It describes something as fake, false, or not genuine. When we say something is bogus, we’re basically calling it out as a fraud or a sham or something not authentic.

It means to restrain or suppress something, like an emotion, a sound, or an action. It’s like holding back or keeping something from being expressed or released. For instance, if you suddenly feel the urge to sneeze in a quiet place, you try to stifle the sneeze by covering your mouth and nose, or even by holding your breath.

Regime

It refers to the system or government in power, the rules and principles that guide it, and the period of time during which it holds control. It’s a term that helps us understand the structure and dynamics of governance. The word regime can also be used to describe a specific period of time during which a particular government or ruling system is in control.

Referendum

A referendum is a democratic process that allows citizens to express their opinion on a particular matter. It’s often used for important political or social decisions that impact a large number of people. During a referendum, a specific question or proposal is put forward to the general public.

Snuff

Snuff as a verb means to extinguish or put out a flame or light source. It can also be used figuratively to mean ending or eliminating something abruptly or forcefully. It’s like putting an end to doubts or negativity. So, when facing naysayers, you can snuff out their negativity by staying focused on your dreams and proving them wrong with your success.

It refers to something that can be really common or widespread. In our modern world, technology is a great example of something ubiquitous. Smartphones, computers, and the internet are present everywhere.
